Why Work with a Travel Advisor?

How much do your services cost? 

I get asked this question a lot!  In most cases I do not charge anything extra to plan your vacation!  My compensation comes directly from the supplier when you are booked and traveled.  The only exception to this rule is for European FIT vacations. Free Independent Travel in Europe has many elements to research and is a lot more time consuming to create custom itineraries, than other areas of the world. Because of this, I do charge a small fee.  Ask me for details.

Do you get better rates than if I booked myself?

Because of my connections to suppliers and my amazing host agency, often I  have access to negotiated rates, exclusive deals, amenities, and added perks that you cannot find on booking sites.  The value of using me to book your trip, is in how I can save you time, stress, and frustration both in planning and while traveling.  Find a lower rate? How long does the planning process take?  

After our initial conversation about what you envision for your vacation, I will email options to review within 2-3 days.  Once a vacation is approved, in most cases I can put it on a free hold for you so we don’t lose the rate quoted. Then I will email my Suntastic Trips Client Portal so you can add your contact details, secure credit card authorization and more. Then I use your card on file to make any approved deposits or payments towards your vacation.

Can I still use Points when booking with you?  

In most cases No.  Using Points is something that needs to be done directly with the supplier who awarded the points.  I can however, add Loyalty Numbers to packages so you earn future points with many hotels and airlines

Can I book AirBnB and Home Rentals/Villas with you?  

I have access to book full houses, condos or villas depending on your destination with my trusted suppliers.  For specific AirBnB or VRBO properties, I cannot book these for you as they are not regulated and can be canceled at the owner’s discretion at any time. 

What official documents do I need to travel internationally? 

You will need a passport book to travel internationally & your passport must be valid at least 6 months after returning home.
If you need to apply for a passport, be sure to do this several months in advance so it arrives in time for travel!
